The piece has a foreboding feeling of mystery, dread and woe to any who would come into this room and face the witch that lurks in the shadows.She invites you ever so closer at the same time as giving you a deep feeling to stay away like a dark mistress whose voice fades and weakens the will and bends it to her whim. The air in the room feels dense, heavy and charged with emotions of loss, sadness, and leaves the heart bitterly cold when they look upon this spectacularly chilling artwork. My only issue and it is very slight is that this witch is not anything original, just your classic green skin and black clothes which is far too reminiscent of the Wizard of Oz but even so it magnificently executed, the colors call forth a dark mood and are in the spirit of the season with tricks and treats, monsters and sweets. Magnificent job on the part of the artist.
