DON'T LET A.I. and THES BULLY PLATFORMS WIN

Jan 14, 2023

When i was a senior in high-school i wanted to work in an artistic field, i thought it would be fantastic and fun. As soon as i joined college.... Well, my enthusiasm started dwindling away. I started feeling like I'm getting put into a box to meet the expectations of the industry, which is expected, however it started to suck the enjoyment out of the creative process. I have tried doing graphic design and drawing occasionally as a part of job, but i soon realised, i just can't. My slow demeanour and hyperfocus on details which was also making everything more time consuming was just not gonna cut it. To add to that everything I did, well a lot of it, was just not "commercial" enough. Plus the stress of having deadlines on creative stuff was just an error message to my weirdly wired brain. It was also crewing up my already messed up self-esteam, self- worth and already hardly there confidence in the skills I had. I'd be nervous all day, avoiding any check-in from the people in charge
