Description

1780s ish gown, not completely historically accurate but close. Its partially hand sewn and partially machine sewn. The longer seams are done by machine, the rest by hand and the hems of all the white material is hand done rolled hems.

It was made from silk taffeta that I bought second hand and some sort of sheet gauze, maybe cotton fabric I also got second hand. The bodice is lined with muslin and the rest is unlined. The shift/chemise worn underneath was also made by me and done by hand
