Description

A beautiful dawn at Humpback Rock off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia.

I haven't posted in a while, be it for time constraints or not really happy with my images. But for it's sky editing issues, I still like the overall composition and atmosphere of this photo shot without a tripod after a hike up a mountain. Next time I will be better prepared. Regardless, it's time to get back into posting - nothing will ever be perfect and the only way we get better is by practicing. One day I'll look back on this image and know how to more skillfully edit it. DA has always been a record of that progress for me: my development as a photographer, and I think it should stay that way. So, faults and all, up the image goes. Keep shining, everyone; however imperfect we are.
