Description

Photos from the 3rd annual Mermaid Parade for 2018 in Down Town Portland Oregon on July 28th. These were shot with my Nikon D850 full frame DSLR camera. I was also using a Nikon SB 5000 speedlite to add a fill light in order to soften the harsh shadows, in contrast to direct Sunlight. A fair amount of editing work was also needed on each image to improve the contrast and color cast, which makes a huge difference in how these look.
