🐘Amazing drawing.

Asian Elephants are truly a symbol in India. They been part of it’s culture for thousands of years. And there are major differences between them and their larger African cousins. African Elephants are bigger, heavier, and have larger ears. Some of the differences they have is that African Elephants have 2 trunk fingers, smooth-round head. Asian Elephants only have 1 trunk finger, smaller ears, and a bumpy head. And Asian Elephants are more of a brown color with some patches of pink. And another major difference, while both male and female African Elephants have tusks, strangely it’s only the Asian Elephant bulls that grow tusks. Rather strange, what’s with that? Another thing is that African Elephants are rarely domesticated.

Even though they never met in the Wild due to their home ranges being thousands of miles apart, they do meet each other in some zoos and other places.

And today is World Elephant Day. A day to honor the largest living land mammals.🐘
