Description

About a week ago - more or less - I picked out a photo of Jayne Mansfield and drew a sketch of Starburst based on it.

Starburst has always looked better to me when she bore that classic "Hollywood blonde bombshell/glamor girl" look exemplified by Mansfield, Monroe, Mamie van Doren and others, but especially Jayne. So Jayne is my "go-to" when I want face reference for Cynthia/Starburst. (Not necessarily striving for an exact likeness, just trying to capture some of that essence.)

And I've done a color portrait based on this sketch as well.
