Towards the end of April, a friend of mine had requested me to do a painting that had pink roses, white hydrangeas and perhaps something small like a humming bird. The piece was to be a gift to her mother (who turns out to be a big fan of my work to which I say thank you!) for her upcoming birthday but at the last minute while I was reaching the finish line on the piece, we thought it would be a good early Mother's Day gift instead. So finished it and delivered the piece to her today on the condition that I wouldn't post anything about it until the gift was presented. Waiting, this evening I received a text message saying 'You can post now. She is crying and wants very badly to meet you.' Well I'm very happy that she enjoyed the piece.
