Garo Origin (Rudeus Greyrat) by DCD10Unite on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

Rudeus Greyrat's extra form, Garo Origin, is an evolution of his Hagane Armor that takes the shape of the original Garo Armor worn by the Saejima family.

However, it carries Rudeus' unique signature with bichromatic helmet eyes and an iconic gem that represents his immense power. This transformation is a direct result of Rudeus receiving an enormous mana pool from an alternate version of himself, as well as a golden vestige of his original Garo Armor.

Abilities and Features:

Triple-Colored Blazing Armament: Garo Origin is equipped with three-colored Madou Flames—green, blue, and red—that fuel its combat abilities.

Winged Gouten Madou Horse: Rudeus can summon a winged version of Gouten, the mighty Madou Horse, which is additionally equipped with the Master Cape, enhancing his mobility and combat capabilities.

When fused with alternate Rudeus' Magic Armor, the Winged Gouten can assume the Pale Dragon Garo form, turning into an ornate golden air-bike that can rapidly ram his enemies via constant teleportation.

Garo Zanba Ken: This legendary greatsword, an upgrade from Rudeus' own Garo Ken, can be summoned at will, packing immense destructive power.

Armor Upgrades for Rudeus' Wives:

In Garo Origin form, Rudeus' power extends to the armors of his wives—Sylphiette, Roxy, and Eris—granting their Garo Armor summons powerful new forms reminiscent of the Kouga-verse’s Garo Armor upgrades:

Sylphiette's True Winged Garo: Her Winged Garo evolves into a four-winged form with green-eyed Madou Flames. It wields the original Garo Zanba Ken, channeling the purity of her magic and grace into combat.

Roxy's Shining Hawk Garo: Warlock Garo takes on a blue-eyed form with majestic ring-like wings and blue Madou Flames. Her new weapon is the Phosphorus Spear, perfectly attuned to her magical prowess.

Eris' Dragon Formation Garo: Warrior Beast Garo transforms into a red-eyed dragon-inspired armor, adorned with dragon motifs. It wields the formidable Ryujin Garo Ken, amplifying Eris' ferocious and beastly fighting style.

Together, Rudeus and his wives form an unbeatable team, their Garo Armors shining brighter than ever as they face the perils of their world, defeating Horrors with unmatched power and precision.

Rudeus Greyrat, alongside his wives Sylphiette, Roxy, and Eris, gained the Garo Origin form during an arduous journey across the multiverse. Their travels led them to confront Zaji, a powerful demon born from the grudge of Horrors previously defeated by past generations of Garo.

Zaji, embodying the lingering darkness of all those fallen Horrors, proved to be a formidable foe. In the initial battle, Zaji stole the Garo armors from Rudeus and his wives, leaving them defenseless and banishing them to a dimension far removed from their own world.

In this new dimension, they encountered an alternate version of their world, one where certain events unfolded quite differently. This world’s Rudeus Greyrat and his family never became Makai Knights or Priests, never fought Horrors, and this version of Rudeus was known only as the "Quagmire", one of the Seven Great Powers. He had lived a different life, never inheriting the mantle of Garo.

Instead, he had settled into a quieter existence alongside his family, sending his children off as they lived out their years peacefully, starkly contrasting the Makai Order Greyrat family, who dedicated themselves as Gajari’s apostles, defending the Six-Faced World from Horrors.

Stranded in this world without their Garo armors, the Makai Order Greyrats had to rely on their Makai arts and Rudeus’ Hagane armor to survive. Interestingly, the alternate Rudeus possessed his own set of Magic Armors, which resembled the Hagane armor in both appearance and functionality. Despite their differences, the Greyrat families began to work together, forming an unlikely alliance.

Their journey brought them to the labyrinth dungeon of the Begaritt Continent, where both versions of Rudeus shared a tragic connection: the loss of their fathers. Initially, Makai Knight Rudeus felt disgusted by the alternate version of himself, who had once been a NEET in his past life.

However, remembering the words of his late best friend, who always believed in the potential for people to change, Makai Knight Rudeus came to accept his alternate self. He acknowledged that the man who had welcomed his family with kindness and helped them in their time of need was not the same person as the perverted NEET of the distant past.

The two Rudeuses developed mutual respect for each other, and together they faced Zaji once more, who had twisted the labyrinth into a dark and warped version of itself using his immense powers. In the final battle, Zaji’s overwhelming strength nearly drove them to despair, dredging up their darkest memories.

But like a true tokusatsu superhero, Makai Knight Rudeus encouraged the alternate Greyrats to rise up and fight, inspiring them with his unyielding spirit. His wives, now standing proudly as Makai Priests, echoed his words of encouragement.

Moved by the experience and wishing he could have had a supportive best friend like his Makai Knight counterpart in his own past, the alternate Rudeus joined the fight with renewed vigor. Their mutual respect and shared Laplace Factor caused an explosive surge of mana, granting the Greyrats a brief moment to reclaim their stolen Garo armors from Zaji. This shared power also awakened the golden vestige of their Garo armors, further enhancing Rudeus’ Hagane armor.

The result was the birth of Garo Origin, a return to the roots of the original Garo armor but with additional abilities, symbolizing the fusion of their two worlds. With this new power, the Greyrats from both worlds finally defeated Zaji, destroying him alongside the dark Gate that lay beneath the labyrinth.

After the battle, both versions of the Greyrat family parted ways, blessing each other with well-wishes for the future. The alternate Greyrats returned to their peaceful lives, while the Makai Order Greyrats continued their mission as Gajari’s apostles, dimension-hopping across worlds to exterminate the Horrors. They promised to visit the alternate version of Jinkai whenever they could, cherishing the bond they had formed.

Years later, the alternate Rudeus and Eris passed away after living full, normal lives. The Makai Order Greyrats attended their burial, paying tribute to the lives they lived. But that is another story for another time.
