1. The Railway Series and My Pretty Pony: Predecessor to the TV show.

2. The Classic Series and G1: The show's 1980s beginning, featuring an enchanting aura of times before them.

3. Shining Time Station and My Little Pony Tales: An element of the human world is added.

4. The HiT Model Era and G3: The 2000s have arrived, and characters and stories are simpler than before, but the art style is still more or less the same.

5. The HiT GI Era and G3.5: The character and story types have not been restored, and the art style has changed significantly.

6. The Andrew Brenner Era and Early-To-Mid G4: The 2010s have arrived and, although the show has changed a lot from the original, it has a newfound level of energy, freshness and life.
