these are the main/major characters of Naruto in Part I
i got the image from Wikipedia

front row L-R: Shino Aburame, Neji Hyuga, Sakura Haruno, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Shikamaru Nara, Chouji Akimichi

the duration of this pic spanned across around 3-4 days
it didnt take that long, but a few hours in each day

the position of some faces took ages e.g. Sakura's, coz its not looking directly in the pic, but for me it seemed impossible to draw it that way, it was the same for some other characters
i can clearly say i didnt draw Chouji that well and TenTen doesnt really look like herself
but what you gonna do? lol
plus before today i had no idea who the guy behind Shikamaru's hair was, coz it completely covered the face
i had to ask my friend thekillerinstinct who it was, which turned out to be Kiba

the one i spent the longest was Naruto, he is in the front so he has to stand out so i spent time on him

first i used pencil to do a character and shading, the outlined it in pen, then moved on to the next character
to make sure the pencil didnt look likea bunch of hard lines i used cotton buds to smudge it in
