My favourites characters from the Sailor Moon series has to be Sailor Cosmos and Eternal Sailor Moon!
Sailor Cosmos
I was just very anxious when assembling the pieces together for Sailor Cosmos since I procrastinated (like over a year) and struggled to complete it despite having the pieces sitting in my bedroom. Sailor Cosmos was so well received, which did surprise me especially winning the Cosplay Masquerade in July! Also, I won a competition online and was invited to take part in a photoshoot, which the pictures were featured in promotional advertisement for a Cosplay Party Event! Even the organisers commented ‘bring the costume’ to the rave! My amazing friend made the staff prop for me (she does not have a Deviantart account) so big shout out to her!

Eternal Sailor Moon
With Eternal Sailor Moon, I did make a vow since 2016 after attending Hyper Japan Christmas Market to remake the entire costume from scratch to surpass the first one I made and was extremely pleased with the overall outcome! I am so happy with the accuracy of the stitching, the materials used to add dimension and the details of the costume especially the skirt! My goodness, the fluffy feathered wings really stand out! Despite a few drawbacks such as getting through narrow doorways and accidentally knocking things over, the Cosplay judges commented how much space the giant wings took on stage when receiving an Honourable Mention in the Cosplay Masquerade! This Cosplay certainly is a glow up and demonstrates the improvement over the two years since I have begun Cosplay as a hobby! Just compare 2016 to 2018!

Cosplay Masquerade
Both Sailor Cosmos and Eternal Sailor Moon stage performances for the Cosplay Masquerades has been successful and has been my personal best performances! I will admit, I really love going on stage to perform because it is exhilarating and heart-warming especially seeing the audience smile! It is amazing how people spend their time at a Convention to find you after the show and to compliment both the costume and the performance! I feel so touched from the admirable comments, thus it makes me become really excited! Out of the Cosplay Masquerades I have taken part in this year, I do think Eternal Sailor Moon had a better reception overall: preparation, costume progress and construction, feeling the character, audio choice, the audience interaction and stage presence as well it was the most enjoyable experience! Even so, Eternal Sailor Moon received an Honourable Mention whilst Sailor Cosmos was given a trophy having won the Cosplay Masquerade!

Whenever I Cosplay these two characters, I feel powerful! I love the character designs, their styles and their personality. On top of that I admire how they overcome complicated plights despite the pain they had to endure: physically, mentally and emotionally! It is because of these reasons this is why I love Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Arc! The characters from Sailor Moon are truly outstanding and bringing them to life through Cosplay is such a wonderful feeling!
