Custom Paper Mario/Mario Story sprites for Lady Timpani, a character mentioned a lot in Super Paper Mario's backstory. While she is mentioned a lot, the only time she is seen in the game is in silhouette form. My design is extrapolated from that silhouette with some personal touches added in. This sprite sheet in general was a request from FreeStudios.

As Mario and friends adventure for the Pure Hearts in an effort to stop the Void, those viewing and guiding the adventurers from another dimension got strange flashes of a love story. It was a romance, of the virtuous Lady Timpani finding and healing an ailing member of the Tribe of Darkness. It was a tragedy, of Blumiere's (#&( father using an unknown spell to not only banish Timpani, but somehow force her to walk (...or even Flip...) until she dropped. It became a dual satire, of Timpani eventually giving out and only being saved by a stranger's kindness, while Blumiere got vengeance on his &(#(*$& dad...at a greater price than intended. (...Waitasec- I don't remember that being satire...)
Will satire lead to comedy again and reunite these two lovers, even if they're not quite them?

For this design, I had to perform a juggling act- give Timpani specific design choices to make her next fate possible, while also justifying why someone wasn't completely sure who they were upon seeing them again. I also had to make mine different from other (very good) designs.
