Bank accounts. You probably have one. You probably think of them as: Here's a checking account, here's a savings account. Checking account earns no interest right? Savings earns something like 0.01% APY or so? Yeah, I thought so too. The issue is you are earning soooo little with most every modern bank account. But it's a large bank, they have branches everywhere. Shouldn't this be where I put my money? ...Maybe no? There are alternatives. What alternatives? Have you heard of a high yield savings account? Have you heard of a cash account? Did you know select ones are offering near 5% APY on their accounts?

If you're reading this you made it! You got through the dumpster fire filled with trip-mines that was 2020! One thing I want to point out to the tired masses during this time is: this is a definite achievement! Whether you've been following quarantine protocol this entire time, took some risks, or made some mistakes, you've still made it past a terrible year. Now...if there's one takeaway I've gotten from this year it's that if you are having a crappy time, stuff is opposing you from all angles, it's important to reward yourself. Why is it important to reward yourself? Well, to tell yourself even subconsciously that there's something better around the corner. That there are better sensations that you can experience. Even if it's a reward that you don't pay for, take some time out to do something you enjoy so you keep yourself a bit optimistic about the future in general. If you have doubts about whether or not your vote counts or not, well, ask yourself this: Why are there so many reports of people trying to disrupt and influence the outcome of the votes each election year if they didn't matter? Who also disrupts these swing states to go from Republican to Democratic or vise-a-versa? WE DO!
