Cthaarz is an Old One—a god-like eldritch entity and type of BFB (Being From Beyond). Cthaarz is a keeper of knowledge, secrets, truths, and all things pertaining to the mind or understanding. Unlike many entities from the Great Beyond he does not have an interest in meddling with the affairs of mortals, simply content to exist beyond material understanding while occasionally glimpsing into and observing the realms of existence. Despite his lack of interest in mortal affairs, he does not hesitate to share freely the maddening eldritch knowledge he keeps—often times being more generous than those who make such requests would expect usually to the detriment of their sanity. Many times this knowledge can lead to mutations in mortals, leading to crab-like limbs or tentacles.

One of several extremely powerful Lovecraftian inspired god-like entities. Currently Old Ones include: Cthaarz, The Enra, The Hidden Host of the Shadow Gate, Muuraka, and Sive. Actually pretty accurate depiction though not 100%. Eye should be more horizontal with tentacles emerging from within, and body should be just a mass of tentacles with crab limbs sticking out.
