Description

Someone on You Tube made three videos on there version of the Hell Cannon. It really looked like a DIY Mortar instead but it looked cool. The first video they made the tube and two rounds for it.They used two 1-pound propane tanks for the mortar. The tanks stood a a bit over 11-inches and almost 4-inches in diameter. The first one was a practice round and it landed 200 yards away. The second round had a charge in it and it went off perfectly. In the second video they paid someone to make the fins and detonators but both turned out to be duds. The third-video they had someone make a improved detonator but it didn't work on the first shot. The guy then added more charge to send the mortar but it ended up blowing up the mortar in the tube destroying the tube!

The hell cannons that I'm familiar with are the ones using a 5 gallon tank. BAAAA-BOOOM!
