Description

The weekend…. Sleep late, take a leisurely shower and then maybe a croissant with coffee. I think maybe afterward I’ll spend the afternoon at the mall. There is a cute pair of shoes that I’ve had my eye on and I could use a new summer dress and who knows what else I might find. Then maybe stop at that bistro that makes the really delicious flat bread hors d’oeuvre and the perfect pina colada. Then I’m treating myself to a mani and pedi before I go home for a nice nap and then get ready for a night on the town with the girls. I think I will wear that black silk number with the really risqué slit. Oh, and if I get those shoes they will go perfect. The heel is a little high for dancing but they make my legs look fantastic! I’ll deal with the little annoying pain –it’s what you have to do to look good. I know we’ll start at that new Mediterranean place for drinks and the perfect seafood. Not too heavy because I’m watching my dress size and I have a long night ahead. Then to the jazz bar for a few more warm ups before finally heading over to the dance club on the corner. I don’t want to get there too early and look all desperate and eager, and so what if the crowd is just a little younger, I can pull it off. Plus, I need someone who has a body that can keep up with me… giggle. From there, who knows? It will depend on who has been drinking the most and who lives closer.

That would be nice. But day-dreaming is not going to get this field mowed or the fence repaired. Breaks over girl, one more sip of this warm beer and lets get back to it. If I hurry I can get this field done and the stock fed before the sun goes down. Good thing that deep forest works or I’d be eaten alive out here. Definitely going to LOVE that shower tonight!! God I love the weekend!
