Happy Halloween! And once again, Rune and Moss are off on a task, this one being the “Broken Bones” prompt:

"I saw two giant wild Boneknappers get into a fight and the winner took a lot of the loser’s armor. I know that Boneknappers fight over bones all the time, but it’s just not right to leave another dragon defenseless like that. Do you think you can lead the injured Boneknapper to the eastern islands? There are a lot of whale bones there it could use to replace its lost armor."

I…am honestly mostly motivated to do this because apparently the Boneknapper and its short is no longer considered canon? They don’t consider the Boneknapper canon but they do the Hidden World??? Begone pests. :shakefist:

Okay so y’all bear with me I’ve been told I can submit PDFs to this website so this is technically my test run because before formatting this was eight pages long and trying to read literature that’s longer than a few paragraphs on this website is a pain in the patoot. Here’s hoping. :eager:

Got some references to Surf’s Up, Legend of the Boneknapper, the ABBA song “The Winner Takes It All” (was writing a bit of it on a ride to and from the vet and that song was on), and probably a few more I’m forgetting. Did look up sea caves and the black sands of Iceland for the art part though—love how it turned out, although I had to laugh at the alt text Word tried to give as characters from a video game. Uh…maybe if we count the HTTYD games, but no. X’D
