LiteratureDeep Blue Jaws: CHAPTER 1(Chapter 1: Party for Prey) July of 2024. The sailboat floated in the oceans of Mexico, as the midnight sky's darkness flowed around the landscapes far ahead. Had it not been for the 1-day delay of the dreadful storm here, this summer night stream would have turned out very crappy and boring to those not fortunate enough to have an aquatic peer party. 4 teenagers, 2 guys and 2 girls, journeyed on the boat, holding root-beers and jamming to a CD player with a teddy bear attached to it. They danced and joked around, not caring what could be in the deep blue sea. Now these teens had quirky names. For the guys, you have Chad and Rodrick. Chad is the kind of guy you usually see as a class clown and a trash-talking addict to gaming, while Rodrick is the kind of person to be very controversial in his opinions. The girls however, were named Jennifer, nicknamed Jen, and the blonde one, Vicky. They were all high-school graduates, like me, the author, of course. As rotting, zombified bodies lied in the corners of the streets' alleys, with flies surrounding them, our newfound group of 4 made their way down a darker alley. They all had guns, and they were ready for what's coming. One zombified body had its hand up, with only 4 fingers standing, as the thumb had been somehow bitten off. However, the blood was far from fresh to be new. The bipedal German Shepherd teenager leading the group, stopped them. Him: Hold up. The leader, Chase Shepard, then investigated the body, assault rifle aimed down at it for any signs of life. None. Then, he picked up a greeny liquid substance with his bare hands, rubbing his fingers to inspect it. Chase: Have not seen something like this before.
