11x14 pastel pencil and charcoal on clairefontaine pastel mat paper

The usual story; but of a beloved family pet named Muttley that past a couple years ago. And what an ADORABLE little guy this was, especially in the reference photo. He has such a soft warm face, and I believe it's portrayed in the drawing well. Another challenge of working with limited reference photo options in low resolution.
