Durhurhur lame title.

Recently had a rather fun opportunity come my way which I was informed of thanks to my awesome student advisor. A drop-in studio on Monday nights where there's a lot of space to work in (great, as where I live is a tad... uhm, cozy) and even some free supplies.
I wanted to get used to doing art in the studio, so the first day I was just sketching and talking with everyone. This is one of the sketches I finished. Slapped some digital colour on tonight. c:

This is, actually, the first design of my character, Synthe. He's existed way longer than one might expect.
Different, but... ahaha. Well, I really adored this design when I was young. Changed it for a few reasons, though. Mmm. Nostalgia.

One thing I just noticed is I forgot the beads in his hair.
(Yep, had them then, too.)
