When Kathy attempted to sit upon a swing, the seat buckled and broke under her formidable weight.

Bobby and Jacob at once fell to the ground in delirious laughter.

Kathy was hurt and embarrassed by the young boys merriment at her misfortune but kept her emotions in check fearing an outburst of anger. Her mother had warned her to never wield it against the Littles so she came up with a clever alternative to get even with the boys by challenging them to lift her weight with the sea-saw. She even made it interesting by daring both of them to try at the same time. A challenge that the cock sure-of-themselves boys couldn't resist.

They've been suspended in the air for ten whole minutes now, waiting for Kathy to finally decide to let them back down. And until such time as she deems necessary, their fun time is on hold.
