Description

The night I took this image is one I won't forget for a long time.

A powerful solar storm caused the Aurora Borealis to be seen across many areas of the UK, it was very noticeable in Cornwall. Spectacular even.

The dancing ribbons of light were overhead for a solid couple of hours and I took over 100 photos and I still couldn't keep up with what was happening in the sky.

It was an incredible experience. The colours were muted to my eyes, except for the red colours which were quite vivid at times.
