This was just a quick little mini painting I did for fun during a friend's recent visit. I honestly hadn't touched my watercolors and gouache in far too long, so I feel dreadfully out of practice with them. Finding so many dried up tubes is also mildly disturbing and sad at once, because it's awful sending such tools of creativity to the art supply graveyard.

The cat is my awesome kitty, Opal. I love her to bits and her markings aren't quite symmetrical so she made for a fun study.

3.5 x 2.5 inches. Watercolor and gouache on watercolor paper.
