Ahaha... gah, I can't believe I'm doing this.

Right, so this is my character Wax, whom I'm auditioning for . Yeeaaah... there's... over 300 applicants already and so many talented people are entering with such original characters! I don't have a chance here with my very first actual OC ever! XD;; Buut I'm trying anyway... haaa I must be suicidal.

...yes, he's a wax elf. Yes, REALLY.

Age: 13
Height; 2" normally, 4'1" with the necklace.
Species: Wax Elf

Info on His Race and World: Wax elves are basically a species of elves that are on average about the size of a human thumb. They're a bit like keebler elves, except instead of cookies, they make candles. They all live in a city called Candleton, which is a sprawling little place made from candle wax and the surrounding terrain... the surrounding terrain actually being the backyard of a 7-year old boy. Their entire world actually exists because of that kid's imagination, along with all the other little creatures in that kingdom, such as dustbunnies, mud goblins and carpet dragons.

...He's a very lonely little kid, okay?

Now, wax elves have no idea they're made by a human, they have no idea what humans even are. Essentially their joy in life is to make candles. It's all they do, it's all they live for. They are generally a very cowardly species, and rarely venture out of their homeland. They're especially terrified of fire. However, their artistry is unparalleled... what with candles being about all they produce and all.

Abilities: Wax is extremely smart for his age. He has to be, considering his weapon would normally kill him. He is very good at assessing situations and the environment, then using it to his advantage along with his fire. He is also very quick since with so many older brothers, he has to be to avoid getting horribly abused. Also, like all wax elves, he can control candle wax, though he prefers not to for some reason.

Strengths: Again, Wax is extremely smart and very fast. He also is relatively hard to kill, being made of wax and having no actual organs and all. He can handle losing a limb, as long as there's enough material left he can repair himself. The only way to actually kill him is to hit him in the heart or to take off the head... sort of like a zombie. He's also quite skilled at using his weapon and knows quite a bit about fire, given his freakish obsession with it.

Weaknesses: Fire is his greatest weakness, in spite of being his main weapon. If he's too close to fire or anything really warm, his body will melt. This goes for his own weapon as well, though he's pretty good about using it so that doesn't happen. Also, even if it doesn't melt him, it will prove to be a serious distraction, since if he sees a flame he has to stop to admire it. Water is also a weakness, though not as much of one, if he gets submerged or splashed it will cause him to harden and lessen his mobility significantly. He has downright pathetic pain tolerance, he'd whine about the agony of a paper cut if you let him. He also has very little physical strength. Another weakness is simply his pride, he refuses to admit he is wrong or... well, has weaknesses. Another weakness can be his mouth and his refusal to make friends.

Likes: Fire, Rugby, speed, fire, matches, fire, making snide remarks, starry skies, thinking, fire, not doing work, going against the status quo as much as possible, anything out of the ordinary, being different, fire, being better than other people, winning, fire, being difficult, not liking things, insulting people, his littlest sister (though he won't admit it), his brother Wick.

Dislikes: His full name, water, people, working, his family, his city, wax elves, his brothers (his brother Wick in particular), his dad, green plants, red plants, sticks, the color purple, losing, being outsmarted, making candles, cliches, rocks, classical music, wax elf culture, people, probably you.

Personality: Essentially, he's an arrogant, lazy brat. He's smarter than most people and more talented, and he knows it. He can't stand most people, so he treats everyone as if they're stupid and incredibly annoying. He tries to act as if he is very cool and unaffected by everything. The boy reacts to every situation with sarcasm and basically insults everyone he meets. He seems to especially hate things that come off as cliche or ordinary... how he has such an extensive knowledge of what is cliche is a mystery.

Wax's one passion is fire, which he is freakishly obsessive over to the point of being frightening. He is also very lazy and tends to be pretty selfish, though he does have a soft side he tends to lean more toward that. Wax really can't stand adventures, but if it means getting away from his family, he'll gladly go on one. Perhaps with time and through his experiences in Nevara that can change, however... or maybe he'll just get worse.

Background: Wax grew up in a large family with 12 siblings. Being somewhere in the middle, he doesn't feel like he really has much of a place, nor does he want one. His family is very poor because of having so many kids, and he hates it. He is considered to be a bit of an outcast among his people since he has such a freakish obsession with fire, and he really is perfectly fine with this. He can't stand his society or his culture, and prefers to spend his days lazing around with Rugby avoiding it all as much as possible.

Basically, he's just a lazy brat.

...Yeah, I know it's a crackish idea. It came to me while I was staring at a candle on the dinner table. It's okay, I probably won't get in anyway since there's so many entrants, haha! XD;;

Anyway, yeah, um... I think on the "back" image his match and markings are on the wrong side, I apologize if they are. XD Also, if anyone spots any spelling mistakes or anything else, please tell me! I had my boyfriend look it over buuut who knows, right?

Ahhh, now he can be ignored among all the other contestants, whoo~!
