My new Airship Pirate top.

I made this from a victorian-style blouse [3.99 from Salvation Army] that I cut the back and shoulders off of.

Then I took a vest that I owned, cut off the shoulders, and made a halter neck from the handle of an old leather purse. There are two teardrops of midnight blue velour on the ends, but I don't think that matters. Then I took a silver chain, cut it into two pieces, and attached the ends to the halter neck in back to hold up the back of the vest.

Then I cut out the back even more, and sewed the zipper strap down the center of the cords. It's kind of rough, but I'm not the world's best seamstress. The zipper is really just for show.

I love wearing it! It's so comfy! (surprisingly)
