San Sebastian (or Donostia in Basque) was the final stop on my tour. This city has maintained some of the charme of a mondane fin de sciecle sea resort. Surrounding a harbour bay with hills on either side (and even in the water), the water is very smooth and the view definitely worth painting.

San Sebastián (auf Baskisch: Donostia) war die "Endstation" meiner Reise. Diese Stadt hat sich einiges vom Charme eines mondänen Seebades erhalten. Sie liegt an einer Bucht, die rund herum von Hügeln umgeben ist - und wie man sehen kann stehen einige davon auch im (absolut stillen) Wasser Dieses Panorama war definitiv ein Bild wert.
