Brief history: Pink Diamond was supposed to get a second colony after Earth but due to the events of the great gem war the colony was handed to Kyanite, owned by Blue Diamond. Kyanite was not supposed to "own" the colony, she had to keep an eye on the new kindergartens and make sure that everything ran smoothly. Kyanite is not the only one to have received this task but her approach to it is unique, she enjoyed being in charge so much that she removed all the communicators and warp pads aside from her own, this way she was able to be the only one in direct contact with Blue and she was able to rule over the other gems however she pleased. For this reason, when Blue Diamond informed Kyanite that the Diamond's empire was over and that everyone had to be left free and respected equally she became furious, destroyed the last communicator, broke the pearl who had listened to the message with her and kept ruling the way she always had but with now a new title: Queen Kyanite, sole ruler of colony Viceon-C6B. Nobody in Kyanite's court is aware that all gems have been freed, and she will do everything in her power to keep it that way. It's been almost 3 years since the fall of the Diamond's empire and things aren't going well on Viceon-C6B.

If you wander how tall Kyanite is just know that she is scaled to the size of the warp pad, she is in fact probably a feet taller than Pink Diamond
