Description

Like most young Dwarves, Tayen left home to start her coming-of-age journey around the world. But unlike most young Dwarves, Tayen was not a bit excited and was absolutely reluctant to leave home. Because, while other young Dwarves leave home to find their meaning in life, Tayen already knew she was destined to be a songstress. However little Tay was still forced out of the house by her rambunctiously traditional family, and is now wandering the Northern Realms in search of…something.
Tayen’s currently traveling with a well-meaning mercenary group known as the Clan of Storms, acting as their bard. Though she’s still getting used to life and work with them, their love and inclination towards music keep her around. …Their love of music and, admittedly, the very pretty elf ranger on their team who’s caught her eye.

This sulky Dwarf is wholly nontraditional, liking delicate things and romantic songs rather than strength and rowdy parties. But past all her introversion and fussy sentimentality, she has quite the temper and strong set of values.

Tayen is so fun to write lmao,

but I’ve been meaning to redo her for a while now! Her original outfit was ambitious but hard to make sense of, so I wanted to try something more believable while trying to keep the spirit of her old design.
