Probably the wrong section...
Commission for the newspaper I photo tech(and illustrate) for.

Not to accompany an article, but the cover of the section called "Weekender". The first Friday in the warm weather months my area throws a block party "downtown"(like many other cities) and blocks off sone of the streets and has live music and all the art galleries/wineries stay open late and the yuppies and bohemians and art losers runs the streets and drink and ...stuff. Here's welcoming the warm months and starting them up again.

A big hug and kiss out to Aysha Sheim [link] for the textures I used to make it look... nice. I'm gonna marry that woman one day. The pencils for this are a little higher in detail, which was lost under the ink. I need to stop inking so small.. especially if Im going to be exclusive to using a brush and not nibs/pens.

Sumi ink, Photoshop - 5 hours or so.
