Got a request the other day (well, two) for a drawing which included everybody's favourite 1/12th asian guitarist Jimmy
And I was halfway done one of em and I showed my friend and she said it only KIND of looked like him. (Bless your crusty heart, Nicole, I needed to hear it)
So, after going through a few stages of grief:
"What? What do you mean it doesn't look like him??"
"It totally looks like him. What do you know about how Jimmy looks anyway"
"God... it doesnt look like him does it...fuck... Just tell me it is passable at least!"
"God Ive been drawing him for a decade and I still can't do his sweet face justice"
"Well, hey... why not? Why can't I draw him?? Whst's stopping me?"
*collects pics of Jimmy and sketches his face from 7pm to 3am*
"By god... there is hope..."

And so I practiced all night and I can FINALLY say I can ALMOST draw Jimmy without a reference.
I got to thinking... why didnt I just do this 10 years ago? Well, maybe being able to draw Jimmy without a reference was just too much power for 17 year old perv fangirl me...

Anyway these are the three last ones I did before I passed the fuck out. I'm gonna do a few more and tweak out the bugs as it were (?) and then I'm gonna go back and do my requests ♡♡♡♡♡
