Description

Watercolor on Arches 90# Full sheet 30" X 22" (June 16, 2013)
I never could quite capture the true colors of this piece, on film or by digital means, but this is as close as I can get.

I had lost a friend to brain surgery after his heart failed just two hours before I painted this. His death inspired this piece, still wet as I worked it, till I could no longer keep from crying from his loss.
Alastair Whitehall this is dedicated to you friend.
