For two centuries, Alitheya's Castle stood as a stolid seaport. Perched high upon a butte, it had seemed impenetrable. Then came the war, and the famine that followed. It's inhabitants tore each other apart during the lean years, eventually tossing down the once magnificent Lighthouse, leaving the entire fortress in ruins. In the end, war's price was paid.
