Description

Another character sketch more fleshed out of what my new character Everette Zahn looks like. He's based off of Michael LeRoi from Shadowman, The Gunslinger from the Stephen King book The Dark Tower, Lando Calrissian from Star Wars, Clint Eastwood from the Good the bad & the Ugly & Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid 3. I made him as the gun & weaponsmith for my Darkshade Chracters Ian & Tristessa who he's also friends with. I needed a character to make the weapons & I always wanted a ShadowMan look-alike guy to be in the story. So in my 2019-present re-write of the story I added him. Everette's prise possession weapon is the Colt single action army which he is very skilled with but hardly ever uses it since he's busy working on making custom pieces for his clients & running his shop. Regardless the revolver stays at his hip.

Here is a sneak peek of his part within my work in progress Darkshade story.

We ducked in from the rain and because both of our wings were too tall to scrunch down to fit through the door. “Heeeeey Ian what's goin on” a man said in a pleasant voice as he walked from behind the glass counter full of knives and such and did the usual one arm hug thing that he did. “And Tristessa how are you, my favorite lady” he went to kiss her hand. “Hey I know you” “Ah I'm just playin” he said. Changing the subject I asked “So did you finish your project you've been working on?” His arms full of tattoo art “yeah I've been wanting to update some of the......” I stopped him “my order....” then he stopped slightly amused at my bad timing “oh you mean the rifles.” I nodded my head. Tessa asked me “you didn't tell me you were getting a custom order made.” I told her “Yeah it was kind of a secret I guess even though its more exciting for me.” The rain was starting to let up some outside but the thunder started to rumble in. “Let me go get them for ya” Everette said as he was walking to the back room. He brought it out and handed them to me “Two Remmington 1100 rifles custom made for you with alterations for the left handed one” he said as his face lit up with a twinkle in his eye. “Thank you these will work for sure” throwing my jacket on the floor, I picked up both of the rifles aiming them both at this furry creatures head mounted on the wall. Tessa still soaking wet and looking not her best “are you sure you can afford something like this it looks expensive” . “Don't worry about it” Everette interrupted in a smooth way. “You just have to do me some favors, concerning that friend of yours.”
