I know I said I likely wouldn’t have time to do the Inktober challenge this year because I’m prepping for Chase Con in November, but I can’t help myself. I waited all year to do this challenge again, and this year my theme is all original fantasy characters with monochromatic color schemes. I know most people just do black and white, but last year one of my favorite illustration artists, Emily Warren, did these gorgeous ink girls with some pops of color. There’s really no wrong way to do Inktober, I say So I hope you guys enjoy my Inktober 2017 Day 1 drawing of a mermaid.
