What's happening to dA?!

On July 30, DeviantArt sent the following email to all of its users: Here, and in the footer link of the email, it is explained that the Fragments system will be replaced with the so-called Gems. Starting September 1, all your Fragments will be eliminated, or as dA is calling it, "converted" into an honorary badge. In turn, users without a Core membership will receive 40 Gems weekly from now on. Many people will say 'That's good'; but no, 'that's bad,' because with each weekly gem delivery, you will lose all the ones you have accumulated. Now the value of the Quartz will be almost zero, due to multi-accounts. What dA plans to do within a month could be classified as an anti-consumer practice. It is not a violation of the law, according to dA's own Terms of Service, which state that they can modify the system at their discretion, without prior notice. However, this does not negate the initial point: it is still an anti-consumer practice. Here is a good example of how this could be
