iPad Painting experiment by emperpep on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

Tools:
Apple iPad 2
DAGI capacitive stylus
Autodesk Sketchbook Pro

[I'm glad that I can come back from a trip before June.]

I just bought an iPad with Dagi stylus, And tested some drawing applications.

It feels somewhat like drawing on a Cintiq, But iPad Capacitive screen doesn't work with fine tip stylus, So It isn't accurate enough when drawing sharp-small outlines and details. [It also has no pressure sensitivity]

[Drawing on Nintendo dsi XL with a Wacom Grip pen is easier in my opinion.]

Parts I like about this app is layer system, undo-redo commands, transparency-lock, and many useful tools for digital painting.
