Description

With fan art, I've been using a lot of references because I wanted the drawings to look as much like the source as possible. It helps me learn some techniques, and gives me a target to aim for when trying to work with GIMP. The problem is I don't want my own art to look too much like someone else's. Once I figure this whole digital thing out, I want my drawing to really look my style - if that makes sense to anyone.

So anyway, here's a drawing of Rainbow Dash I did without references. I think her wings look kinda funny. I should've tried to draw Twilight. Some ponies are really underrepresented in my gallery....
