I smoked for about 20 years, and recently gave up cigarettes about two and a half months ago. I still vape, which is also addictive as hell, and in its own kind of way which is different than cigarettes.

Anywho, I like this image a lot. I really like the lighting you used since it adds a bit of focus on the cigarette, and emphasizes the point that sometimes all you can think about is a cigarette, leaving everything else as a dark and distant second. I also sort of like how there's a feeling of "not quite centered, not quite straight" here. It's not quite "perfect", and a lot of times, that's just how things are. The muted color of the filter is also nice.

Although I'm not sure on your choice of plate here. Those speckles cause my eyes to be drawn to the plate, and the table the plate is sitting on is also causing my eye to be drawn onto it. My eyes are a bit busy trying to "rest easy" on this image, which isn't a huge deal, but I might have tried to tone down the speckles a bit. Just my two cents though. Otherwise, this is a great photo
