Art inspired by the movie Interstellar, as you might have suspected from the title.

In General Relativity wormholes can (hypothetically) appear in certain points in spacetime, where space is bend so much that two seperate points in space are connected through a tunnel. Contrary to many depictions in movies and literature, the entrance of a wormhole itself is actually not flat 2D circle but a 3-dimensional sphere.
If you are interested in science fiction with real physics, then Interstellar is a must-see for you! It is not only very accurate, but also visually enganging.

Thanks go to Dagohbert for his asteroids and to in-the-skies who provided parts of the texture I used for the wormhole.
