...of Cricket Town.

Frequently, when life has conspired to make the kid bored, we draw together at the kitchen table, and make up crazy stories about Pokemon, and Sailor Moon and Sakura (the Cardcaptor) to go with them. Most of the time, I'm not going to tire you with anything we come up with, but I think this is a pretty cool marker-doodle (the background is a digital experiment). Sheriff Phred of Cricket Town is based on our house-pet Phred the Leopard Gecko. Who is substituting for things with fur because we have horrible allergies in this house. We imagine Phred strolling into town as a cricket on the water tower attempts to alert the locals that "The new sheriff is a leopard gecko!" but the church bells striking the hour prevent anyone from hearing what the sheriff is. Which is a Blazing Saddles reference.
