Description
On the same day, we also caught the Westbound #40, The Three Rivers, heading west through Montvale heading for Chicago. The power on Amfreight is 3 P42DC's, all in different Paint schemes. The lead unit is in Phase IVb Colors, the second unit in Phase IV Colors, & third unit in Phase III Colors. This was 2 years before Amtrak terminated the mail contract.
