Actually, I think Dimentio is Timpani and Blumiere's unborn child. And this isn't something I made up. I put the pieces together to realize this.

Note: I have all these evidence from Carson. A shopkeeper on Super Paper Mario. He tells you tales about, the magician, his wife, the magician's son, and the magician's daughter. Not to mentain the Count and his minions's tales as wel. Carson's tells can be readed in this video:

Dimentio wears his mask to prevent people from seeing he is half ancient half human. Especially considering Blumiere is the last of his kind there should be no more of Blumiere's kind. The mask is a cover up.
Don't worry. I have plenty of evidence to support this!

Do you think Dimentio can be son of Timpani and Blumiere(Count Bleck)?

My Theory: Both Dimentio and The Pixl Queen are Blumiere and Timpani's child. And the Dimentio's glows are for controlling his magic. Combination of a human and a monster creates the most powerful being of all worlds. Like in Frozen, Elsa had glows to control her powers. Which means Blumiere 's mother might also be a human. No wonder his father didn't wanted him to be with a human. The reason both The Pixl Queen and Dimentio has the power of illusions is because they are siblings. The magician that created the pixls had a wife, a son and a daughter after all.
When Timpani and Blumiere sacrificed themselfs they went 3,000 years back to the past. They wrote down they're entire adventure in a book which people started calling: Dark Prognosticus. But they didn't knew if the worlds saved or not. They only wrote what they lived and because the rest are unknown to the authors people though no more pages means no more future.

According to the game whoever the magician is created the pixls by studying the Dark Progniticus. And since the magician got his hands on the book and isn't afraid of the book. Which means the author and the magician are the same person. And since Timpani is a human, the magicain must be Blumiere/Count Bleck. Which means both Dimentio and The Pixl Queen are Blumiere/Count Bleck and Timpani's children. And Pixl Queen's getting sick after she lost her mother and brother wasn't a coincidence. It was a part of ThePixlQueen and Dimentio's plan. Jist like Asriel and Chara's plans. They're plan was: After The Pixl Queen died Dimentio was suppose to absorb PixlQueen's soul and timetravel 3,000 years into the future. But before they can Blumiere despert e to save the only family he had left, ripped Pixl Queen's soul out before she died and put it on a pixl he created by looking at the Dark Progniticus, creating the first orginal pixl. And of course Dimentio was there and after seeing what his father done to his sister (how he ripped out her soul) he became disgusted by his father's actions and he ran away before he saw that his sister came back as a pixl. But what do you think? Do you think Dimentio could actually be Timpani and Blumiere's child? I forgot to say something about my theory. The Chaos Heart is combination of most of Dimentio and ThePixlQueen's powers. Also, who said there's only 1 Chaos Heart? There's 8 Pure Herts on Super Paper Mario. Also, I think Dimentio saw Squirps as a brother or a friend: Only person *DIMENTIO* cares about in these worlds is: SQUIRPS
The chapter Squirps is in is the only chaper Dimentio didn't interrupted. Also, Squirps surviving Mr L's attack for a few more minutes is incredibly suspicious.
Dimentio: I think I'll start with the green one. He looks like a pushover.
But because Dimentio keep lossing the people he loves. So, he is afraid of getting attached. He only shows in Count's meeting after he called or summoned and he plants seed to someone's head whenever he teams up with them to avoid conversations. In the end of the game Dimentio send the Count away instead of listening. Once again avoiding the conversation. But what do you think?
I made these theories from actual evidence from the game. I think the game gave us pieces from his backstory.If you talk to Carson he gaves us a lot of details about the story. I put the pieces together to make this theory. Carson says he has no idea where Dimentio came from. Dimentio must be a timetraveller. All the clones of himself and all those mirror in his part of the Chapter of Castle Bleck. They are for getting use to the new Dimentio. And according to to Carson the son of the magician miraculously recored from the accident. And it was Dimentio that sended you to the underworld so you can fix the pure heart. The power that fixes the pure heart is Jaydes' power to bring people back from the dead. Which means Dimentio died a long time ago. And his ego might be coming from a brainwashing spell. Just like Mr L. The moment he is dead is the moment he is the most vulnerable. Maybe in the underworld, he got brainwashed by an evil force and got brainwashed into hating his father. He made a plan with his sister and came to the guture. THey're plan was that Shadoo/PixlQueen was going to poison herself and Dimentio was going to absorb her soul when she died. However, after losing Rosalina in the present and losing her wife and son to death Blumiere was desperate. Dimentio watched in fear as Blumiere ripped her sister's soul from her alive body to turn her into a pixl. But Dimentio ran away in fear abd in his new born hatred for his father. And then he came back and took the Dark Progniticus before he ends his father's game And in the Dark Prognoticus he find a spell to go to the present and be the one to control the Chaos Heart. Cause Carson said nothing else about the son of the magician after the accident. And Dimentio just popped out of nowhere. His mother was also in the accident. Which leads me to believe that accident is a explosion that created Dimension D. And now Dimentio is trying to create a new reality where his mother is still around. But he still hates his father because of the brainwashing. ALSO, the fact that both Dimentio and Tippi has the same amount of determination and same kind of energy while hope seems lost for them: Dimentio at the end of the game: "You can't... Stop this now... You can't escape... I've been saving one last surprise... Tippi trying to convince Count Bleck to not lose hope: "I will not. I will not give up. You promised we'd find happiness. You PROMISED!"
