The Three Golden Hazel Nuts by fireburner543 on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

But the Enchantress knew that Rapunzel would see the Prince again, so unbeknown to Rapunzel, the enchantress placed a spell on her, binding her to the tower by means of three golden Hazel Nuts the enchantress had hidden in the tower. The spell bound Rapunzel to the tower like a prisoner in a maniac, unbreakable to unless the Hazel nuts were thrown out of the tower.
The next day the prince visited Rapunzel, like the day before, but this time bringing a rope ladder longer then the tower, by means to help Rapunzel escape. Though despite their best efforts, Rapunzel could not leave the walls of her tower as she was magically shakeled to the tower. knowing this was sorcery the prince said his sweet goodbyes and left the tower to find a way to break the spell.
Now, it so happened that one of the enchantress’s spies had seen the prince leave the tower. And upon the enchantress’s next visit, the spy told the enchantress of the visitor. ‘Ahh’ said the enchantress, ‘Rapunzel is bound to my will. I have placed a spell on her to trap her in the tower, and in three midnights from now, her visitor will be no more, by means of the three golden hazel nuts I have hidden in the rafts above the kitchen.’ All would have been lost, for both Rapunzel and the prince, if the beautiful Rapunzel had not over heard the enchantress. When the enchantress was drawn down by means of Rapunzel’s beautiful tresses, Rapunzel went about the kitchen and found the three golden hazel nuts the enchantress had spoke of. She clutched them close to her breast……
Yeah without a doubt I have a version of Rapunzel, like Cinderella, saved on my computer which incorporates Petrosinella, the Fair Angiola and Rapunzel. I will post bits an pieces of it here and there. Tell me what you think.
