I'm not even sure where to start. It's been ages since I did a piece with a guy. Pretty sure the last piece was my Noctis picture. But even further back, back when I was just learning to color, I did a picture of Dr. Fate -- my favorite DC male superhero. I think he is just so damn cool, and what really makes me go crazy, is that he is hardly known! And I've no idea why! He's such a good character and he's absolutely fascinating. He is truly one of the superheroes that could change the reality of DC in a big way.

And so if you're not familiar with this character, I'll give you the short version - Dr. Fate is a person who puts on the helmet of Naboo, a god of order and light. He then takes over the body entirely and convenes with other gods to direct the fate of the universe. The individual is hand-picked essentially and Naboo only lets the wearer, take of the helmet when it suits him. Sometimes Naboo is a little bitchy and refuses to do what he feels needs to be done and sometimes he is more lenient. Either way, the new entity of the fusion essentially becomes Dr. Fate and he is not one to be messed with -- He can take down someone as strong as Superman, and battle with universal powers such as the Specter any really any god. So he's up there. This piece of course was an excuse too for me to paint some magic and I don't even care, when Buzz did the great lines, I was like, 'oh my gosh, an actual really good picture of Fate, f*ck yes'.
