LiteratureTiny CreaturesI feel them swarming, drawing crazy patterns under my skin. Sometimes I recognize the symbols, but more often I do not. I wonder what they mean— are they messages to me? The tiny creature's crawl up and down my arms, onto my chest. I don’t know what they are, but I’m certain they are alive inside of me. There are other creatures that roam up and down my legs, but they are larger, about the size of moles or small mice. When I’m asleep, I often scratch at my legs to try and release myself from the creatures, but it does no good. I only awake with blood pouring from my legs, but the creatures are still there. If anything, they seem more enraged and determined. I’m now certain that creatures are also in my bloodstream. When I look in the mirror, I can sometimes see them in my eyes. They look like tiny eels swimming. They also have something that resembles teeth or fangs. The creatures are devouring me —of this, I am sure. They never seem to rest
