Was trying to relax a little yesterday evening with something very non-serious and made this cat - took me about 3 hours (or less). I tryed watering down the museum aquarelles to see what it would do.. as a pathocological detail-freak it was hard for me to resist the urge to add lots of details but I wanted this to be more "loose". I had actually skretched the cat a long time ago, and left it in my "unfinished pile", the reference photo was long gone so I did a patchwork of sorts between several cats. To resume, just a little fun-project for a quiet evening with netflix (I always watch netflix or youtube shows while drawing/painting, otherwise I get "too concentrated", and that deteriorates the quality, actually ). Making this watercolor drawing was a bit like stretching out before a marathon, as I have 3 very detailed drawings and a painting in wait...
