Hello everyone! Today we are going to meet an unusual character - Elias Cipher. While not being a part of The Brigade, Elias is still a part of the same universe, and faces many of the same global challenges.

"Within Elias Cipher's crimson gaze, one can often see a very conceded glare. Elias is a proud man, possibly too proud and cocky for his own good. He loves to brag about everything and be the best at anything he can discover for himself. He is a huge fan of chasing those afraid of him, because he intentionally tries to intimidate those he sees as weaker. Some do call him a brat, which in many ways is true. However, Elias does have a caring side to him. Beneath the thick-skinned, show-offy man’s outer attitude is actually somewhat of a caring aspect. He would indeed give his life for those close to him, and defend his home with all of his might.

Being a Blood Commander, Elias is cunning and puts a lot of emphasis on planning. He will appear rather childish at first, however he is a smart man. Since he has quite a few people under his command and is tasked with protecting them, he needs to be! He often will be seen in the Command Room of his Keep, looking at a series of maps either for striking an enemy base, or discovering archeological projects.

The leader of those in the Keep of a guild known as "The Torn", Elias used to be a cruel warmonger that wanted nothing more than for his people to rise and take the world for themselves. In his mindset, this plan was of the utmost importance due to the fact that he is vengeful and always gets what he wants.

He is a good leader, however, especially now that he has turned a new leaf, persay. Due to a series of events, the Blood Commander shifted from villain to anti-hero. There is no doubt that he is still extremely violent, for that is his nature. However, he takes his wrath out upon his enemies.

I had the pleasure of painting Elias as a commission for the wonderful TheMostEpicFox. The character theme and the setting of the picture was right up my alley and I enjoyed the entire process very much. Working on well developed characters with an interesting backstory is also a great bonus for me, as it helped me to set the overall mood for the piece. I hope you like the final result!
