Hello everyone! The time has arrived to share one of our newest weapon designs - the Raven Mage Commander staff.

Recovered from the ruined tower of Karazhan, this powerful mage staff has been in the Brigade's possession for several years now, but according to the Brigade's scholars, the true potential of this wondrous piece has yet to be unlocked. The staff has been forged from an unknown alloy of what has been theorized to be mithril and arcanite, with a generous infusion of materials that had to come from other realms. Considering the history of Karazhan, it is not completely impossible that parts of the equipment found within the tower has been indeed crafted with materials, that can't be found on Azeroth.

It's physical composition and an outlandish look aside, the staff has been enchanted with an extremely complex net of spells that would put most professional enchanters to shame. It has multiple functions and qualities that has been identified - for one ,it is a powerful focus for arcane magic, but its main purpose is to aid a spell casting officer in battle. The three raven statuettes that are perched around the main power crystal of the staff are constantly on the lookout for threats - the literally seek out incoming threats, both obvious and concealed, and when a threat is identified, the main crystal sends out a pulse that illuminates the threat in a radius of up to fifty meters around the mage commander.

While in itself extremely powerful advantage for a group lead by the mage commander, the power of the staff does not end here. While it cannot hinder or stop any larger threats or enemies that are in its radius, the staff's magic is potent enough to immobilize and bind any smaller incoming threats - which includes small projectiles, weaker spells and even small hostile critters (not gnomes, they are too large ). The effectiveness of the staff is directly dependant on the power and proficiency of the spell caster who wields it. It is quite possible that if someone with unnatural magical power and proficiency used the staff, it would reveal more properties.
