Selris has lost his family at an early age, and since then, lived a nomadic lifestyle in the forests. He lacked the talent to become a druid, but his natural affinity for martial arts lead to him being trained as a monk instead. After finishing his training, Selris, now 107 years old, returned to his homeland and sought out new challenges. His journeys eventually lead to him venturing to the icy tundras of Northrend in search of adventure. During a chance encounter with friendly Darkspear troll named Elson, a disaster struck in the form of a marauding Drakkari troll that attacked them and grievously wounded the young monk, before it was subdued.

Elson took the injured night elf to Dalaran, where his wounds were mended and he was taken care of. Upon recovery, the two spent a lot of time together, becoming close friends. Selris sought a bit more, yet Elson did not seem to be ready for a relationship. The time has passed, and their paths met again, eventually leading to the two becoming a couple.

As usual, the choice of a prize was between a b/w portrait and a custom gemstone/jewel. I'm happy that I got to paint Selris, as tt was a pleasure to paint such a handsome young night elf!
